Plot The story is based on the life of a rich young woman name Lavanya who is residing in Belampally with her parents. Being the only daughter, she is a little spoiled, and her parents let her do whatever she wants. Lavanya (born December 1, 1979) is an Indian actress who has appeared in Tamil films and serials. Lavanya rose to fame portraying supporting roles in Tamil films during the 1990s, before moving on to work in television in the 2000s. Career Lavanya studied at M. A. Krishnaswamy Higher Secondary School in Chennai and then Velankanni Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Hosur, Tamil Nadu before embarking on a career in films. Early notable roles she appeared in includes her character in K. S. Ravikumar's ''Padayappa'' (1999), where she played the wife of Nassar's character, ''Jodi'' (1999), '' Sethu'' (1999), ''Sangamam'' (1999) and ''Thenali'' (2000), where she portrayed an interviewer. ''Lavanya'' is a 1951 Indian Tamil language film directed by G. R. Lakshmanan. The film stars T. E. Varadan and Suryaprabha. Plot Two poor girls make their living by street dancing. Some heavenly maidens descend to Earth and wants to make fun. They make one of the girls to get lost while bathing and make the other girl into a handsome young man. Now the young man falls in love with a princess. They marry. A divine person presents the young man with a ring and says the ring will give whatever he wants but there is one condition. The young man should not consummate his marriage. So, the young man gets all he wants and strictly guarded himself from making love to his wife. The wife does all sorts of things to seduce him. Lavanya Suicide Case
In the Thanjavur student suicide case also known as Lavanya suicide case, a 17-year-old student in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu, India committed suicide. Her parents alleged that the student was forced to do work by the warden, after she allegedly refused to convert to Christianity. The investigation was transferred by the Madras High court to the Central Bureau of Investigation, due to lapses on the part of the state police in conducting the investigation. Incident Lavanya Muruganantham was a 17-year-old student of Sacred Heart Girls Higher Secondary School, a recognized minority school administered by Franciscan Missionaries of Mary in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. On 9 January 2022, Lavanya consumed pesticide in an attempt to kill herself. After she was taken to a hospital, she regained consciousness. She died on 19 January 2022.
