Laurie Ellis
Laurie Ellis (born 7 November 1979, in Edinburgh) is a Scottish football coach and former professional footballer. Ellis played for Raith Rovers over three spells, St Mirren, Cowdenbeath and Stirling Albion. As a coach, he has twice served as caretaker manager at Dundee United and was appointed Queen's Park manager in May 2021, before being released in December. Playing career Ellis started his senior career with Raith Rovers after joining from Edinburgh amateur club Links United. Ellis debuted on 12 December 1998 versus Greenock Morton in the Scottish First Division. Ellis made over 90 appearances for the Kirkcaldy club during his first spell and scored his first league goal on 25 November 2000 in a defeat versus Ayr United. Gary Naysmith
Gary Andrew Naysmith (born 16 November 1978) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who is currently the manager of Scottish League Two side Stenhousemuir. Naysmith, who played as a left-back or left-winger, started his senior career with Hearts. Naysmith moved to England to sign with Premier League club Everton, where he stayed for seven seasons. Naysmith was capped 46 times by the Scotland national team between 2000 and 2009. After spells with Sheffield United and Huddersfield Town, Naysmith returned to Scotland with Aberdeen. In the summer of 2013, Naysmith signed with part-time club East Fife, and was then appointed as player-manager in December. He managed Championship club Queen of the South from December 2016 to May 2019. He was appointed manager of Edinburgh City in March 2021, but was sacked a year later. Robbie Neilson
Robbie Neilson (born 19 June 1980) is a Scottish professional football manager and former player who is currently the manager of Scottish Premiership club Heart of Midlothian. Neilson, who played as a right-back, started his senior career with Heart of Midlothian, making 200 Scottish Premier League (SPL) appearances and winning the Scottish Cup in 2006 with the club. Earlier on in his career, Neilson was loaned to Scottish Football League (SFL) clubs Cowdenbeath and Queen of the South. After failing to agree a new contract with Hearts, Neilson left and signed for English Championship club Leicester City in 2009. After about a year he was dropped from the Leicester first team, and was loaned to Brentford, and was then given a free transfer in the summer of 2011. Raymond McKinnon (born 5 August 1970) is a Scottish football player and coach, and is currently the manager of Forfar Athletic. An alumnus of St Saviour's Roman Catholic High School, as a player McKinnon was a midfielder for such clubs as Dundee United, Nottingham Forest, Aberdeen, Livingston, Raith Rovers and Montrose. The Scottish Football League Second Division was the third tier of the Scottish football league system between 1975 and 2013. History The Second Division was created in 1975, as part of a wider reconstruction of the Scottish Football League (SFL). Prior to 1975, the SFL had been split into two divisions (Division One and Division Two). The effect of the reconstruction was to split these two divisions into three, with the top flight named the Premier Division, second tier the First Division, and a new third tier was created known as the Second Division. A fourth tier, known as the Third Division, was created in 1994. In 1998, the Premier Division clubs broke away from the SFL to form the Scottish Premier League (SPL).
