Laurie Elliott (born January 18, 1971) is a Canadian actress, voice actress, television writer, and stand-up comedian. She is best known as the voice of Jo from ''Total Drama''. Currently she is a writer of '' Corn & Peg''. Career She has appeared in ''The Red Green Show'', and won the 2006 Canadian Comedy Award as Best Female Stand-up. She is also a member of the sketch comedy duo Kevlor-2000 with Kevin MacDonald. In 2003, Elliott participated in an April Fool's prank staged by Canada's Comedy Network, which announced that she was slated to star in a new remake of the 1970s Canadian sitcom ''The Trouble with Tracy''. Elliott is participating in the Canadian live comedy show '' Video on Trial'' which also stars fellow Canadian comedians such as Debra DiGiovanni, Ron Sparks and Nikki Payne. Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award
Tim Sims (1962 – February 2, 1995) was a Canadian actor and comedian. He is known for his roles as Jack the Cave Man on ''The Red Green Show'' and as Circle Researcher Rory Tate in a series of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercials in the 1990s. He also performed sketch comedy with The Second City. Sims died at the age of 33 from AIDS-related causes. The Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award and Tim Sims Playhouse, a Toronto venue used by The Second City, are both named in his honour. ''Moville Mysteries'' is a Canadian animated horror adventure television series starring Frankie Muniz as Mosley "Mo" Moville. Two seasons were produced with 26 episodes from September 7, 2002, to May 14, 2003. The show was on YTV in Canada and Fox Kids (later Jetix) in Latin America. Nikki Payne (also credited as Nikkie Payne), is a Canadian comedian and actress, from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada. Born with a cleft palate, she is well known for incorporating her lisp into her comedy act.
