Laurence Caso
Laurence Caso is an American television producer. Career Caso was the executive producer of CBS Daytime's ''As the World Turns'' from 1988–1995. During the 1988 Writers Guild of America strike, he became the show's head writer. He won the Editor's Award at the 9th Annual Soap Opera Digest Awards. In 1995, CBS was widely believed to have engineered the infamous producers musical chairs. With the help of Procter and Gamble Productions, '' Another Worlds EP, John Valente, went to ATWT; GL's EP, Jill Farren Phelps, to AW and Michael Laibson took over at GL, leaving ATWT's EP, Laurence Caso the odd man out. He was offered to be a Creative Consultant on ABC Daytime's '' The City'' in 1996 but turned it down. Prior to becoming ATWT's EP in 1988, Caso had been CBS VP for Daytime. Michael Laibson
Michael D. Laibson is an American television producer and theatre director who is notable for producing soap operas such as ''As the World Turns'' (1986–1988), '' Another World (AW)'' (1988–1993), '' All My Children'' (Senior Producer) and '' Guiding Light'' (1995–1996). He earned a B.A. from UCLA, and taught for the ''Saratoga Arts Festival''. He turned down an offer by Procter & Gamble Productions to be the Executive Producer of '' Guiding Light'' in 2004. The Daytime Emmy Awards, or Daytime Emmys, are part of the extensive range of Emmy Awards for artistic and technical merit for the American television industry. The City (1995 TV Series)
''The City'' is an American television soap opera that aired on American Broadcasting Company, ABC from November 13, 1995, to March 28, 1997. The series was a continuation of the serial ''Loving (TV series), Loving'', which ran from 1983 until 1995, and featured the surviving central characters of the latter's final major story arc, which saw most of the show's characters fall victim to a serial killer. The characters that survived moved from Corinth, Pennsylvania, to New York City and settled in the Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo. Jill Farren Phelps (born July 7, 1950) is an American television producer. She is known for her work with American soap operas, having served as executive producer of '' Santa Barbara'', '' Another World'', ''Guiding Light'', ''One Life to Live'', ''General Hospital'', and ''The Young and the Restless''. Background Jill Farren was born in New York City and earned a BFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She became a stage manager at McCarter Theater in Princeton, New Jersey before becoming a production assistant for various New York stage productions. She began her television career in 1974 with ''Guiding Light'' as a production assistant. John Valente
John Valente (born June 23, 1995) is an Italian-American professional baseball infielder for the Detroit Tigers organization. Career Valente attended New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, New York, and St. John's University, where he played college baseball for the St. John's Red Storm. During the 2018 season, Valente was named the Big East Conference's Player of the Year, the first St. John's player to receive the award. He led the league with a .363 batting average, and recorded a career high five home runs, 40 RBIs and 11 stolen bases, while striking out only nine times in 204 at-bats. He was also named a unanimous first-team All-Big East selection and a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award.
