Lauren Drummond
Lauren Emma Drummond (born 23 December 1987) is an English actress. She is best known for her roles as Mika Grainger in the BBC One school-based drama series '' Waterloo Road'' (2006–2008) and Chantelle Lane in the BBC One medical drama series ''Holby City'' (2011–2013, 2016). Education Drummond was born and brought up in Cheadle Hulme in Stockport and attended Bramhall High School before completing a Performing Arts Course at Mid Cheshire College. She attended the college at the same time as Adam Thomas, who played Donte Charles in ''Waterloo Road''. Career Drummond played the role of Mika Grainger in the BBC school-based drama series '' Waterloo Road'' from its inception on 9 March 2006. Her last appearance was at the end of series 3 in March 2008. She has made other TV appearances, with roles on shows including ''Coronation Street'', ''Doctors'' and ''Grange Hill''. Cheadle () is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. ''Unforgotten'' is a British crime drama television series, which initially aired on ITV on 8 October 2015. It was created and written by Chris Lang and directed by Andy Wilson. The programme follows a team of London detectives led by DCI Cassie Stuart (Nicola Walker) and DI Sunny Khan (Sanjeev Bhaskar) as they solve cold cases of disappearance and murder. ''Dangerous Corner'' was the first play by the English writer J. B. Priestley. It was premiered in May 1932 by Tyrone Guthrie at the Lyric Theatre, London, and filmed in 1934 by Phil Rosen. Priestley had recently collaborated with Edward Knoblock on ''The Good Companions'' and now wished "to prove that a man might produce long novels and yet be able to write effectively, using the strictest economy, for the stage." While it was praised highly by James Agate, ''Dangerous Corner'' received extremely poor reviews and after three days he was told that the play would be taken off, a fate that he averted by buying out the syndicate. It then ran for six months. Arthur Digby is a fictional character from the BBC medical drama ''Holby City'', played by actor Rob Ostlere. He first appeared in the series fifteen episode "Blood Ties", broadcast on 2 January 2013. Arthur arrives at Holby City hospital to start his first year of the Foundation Programme. To prepare for the role Ostlere visited a hospital and shadowed a registrar and foundation doctors on their rounds. He has been described by ''Holby City's'' publicity department as "naïve and socially awkward" plus holding an "encyclopaedic knowledge" on unusual subjects.
