Lauren Brown (born 18 April 1995) is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays as a Rugby league positions#Utility, utility for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL Women's Premiership and the Burleigh Bears in the QRL Women's Premiership. Before switching to rugby league, she played soccer for the Brisbane Roar W-League, Brisbane Roar and Newcastle Jets FC W-League, Newcastle Jets in the W-League (Australia), W-League and for Australia women's national rugby sevens team, Australia in rugby sevens. A-League Women (known as the Liberty A-League for sponsorship reasons), formerly the W-League, is the top-division women's soccer league in Australia. The W-League was established in 2008 by Football Australia (then known as Football Federation Australia) and was originally composed of eight teams of which seven had an affiliation with an existing A-League Men club. New Zealand Warriors
The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. They were formed in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, and are officially known as the One New Zealand Warriors for sponsorship reasons. The 2018 Japan Women's Sevens was the third tournament within the 2017–18 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series and the second edition of the Japan Women's Sevens to be played in the series. It was held over the weekend of 21–22 April 2018 at Mikuni World Stadium Kitakyushu. Format The teams are drawn into three pools of four teams each. The World Rugby Women's Sevens Series, is a series of international rugby sevens tournaments for women's national teams run by World Rugby.
