Martin Lauchlan
Martin Lauchlan (born 1 October 1980) is a Scottish football manager and former professional footballer who is currently manager of West of Scotland League club Petershill. He played for several clubs in the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League, including Partick Thistle, St Johnstone and Stenhousemuir. Playing career Lauchlan came through the youth system at Partick Thistle and made his debut for the club against Morton in January 1998. In spite of injury affecting his early development at Thistle, Lauchlan moved to St Johnstone in July 1999, for an initial fee of £45,000. The midfielder made six Premier League appearances in his four years at Saints, all as substitute, and spent time on loan at Dumbarton. Lauchlan Mackinnon
Lauchlan Mackinnon (26 February 1817 – 21 March 1888) was a pastoralist, politician and newspaper proprietor in colonial Australia. Mackinnon one of the most enterprising of the pioneer colonists of Victoria (Australia) and one of the proprietors of the Melbourne ''Argus'' from 1852 until his death. Early life Mackinnon was born in Kilbride, Isle of Skye, Scotland, the second son of John Mackinnon, a Presbyterian minister of Strath, Skye, and his wife Ann, daughter of Lauchlan Mackinnon of Corriechatachan, Skye. Jim Lauchlan
James Harley Lauchlan (born 2 February 1977 in Glasgow) is a Scottish footballer. Career Lauchlan started his career with Kilmarnock making his first team debut age just 16 he went on to make 98 league appearances for the club. Following a loan spell with Barnsley in 2000, Lauchlan signed for Dundee United for a transfer fee of £100,000 where he played 96 league games over three years. In December 2003, he joined former United manager Alex Smith at Ross County, where 89 league matches brought five goals. In 2006-07, he signed for Queen of the South as player/coach and went on to make 50 appearances for the club scoring 1 goal. He then agreed terms with Dundee after being involved with their pre-season training camp in Malta going on to make 54 appearances for the club and winning the Scottish league challenge cup. Doug M. Lauchlan (February 18, 1931 - February 15, 2016) was a Canadians, Canadian politician, minister and educator. From 1980 to 1982, he was the leader of the Manitoba Liberal Party. Lauchlan was an ordained minister in the United Church of Canada, and was the President of Mount Royal College in Calgary during the 1970s. He also worked as an advisor to Lloyd Axworthy. In 1979, Lauchlan was a federal Liberal Party of Canada, Liberal candidate in the Alberta riding of Calgary West. He was defeated by Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, Progressive Conservative Jim Hawkes. On November 30, 1980, Lauchlan was elected leader of the Manitoba Liberal Party, defeating Hugh Moran by 493 votes to 300. Lauchlan, a surgeon, and his Scottish-born wife Minnie. She trained at RADA, and made her stage debut in 1924. Lauchlan married William Connelly in Surrey in 1948. Grant Lauchlan is best known for his work as a Scottish entertainment journalist, producer and film reporter for STV in Scotland. He studied journalism, politics and film & media at Stirling University. After graduating he worked as a news reporter for Radio Clyde. In 1998, Lauchlan started working as an assistant producer for STV's digital channel S2. In 2000, he began working for ''Scotland Today'' as a film reporter. William Sinclair Lauchlan (or Laughlan, 10 May 1916 – 2009) was a Scottish communist activist. Lauchlan was born in Irvine in May 1916 to James Lauchlan, a plasterer, and Catherine Sinclair. Lauchlan Dalgleish (born 22 June 1993) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by Essendon with the 11th pick in the 2012 rookie draft. Dalgleish won the 120-metre Terang Gift in 12.25 seconds three days after missing out in the national draft and is known for his work ethic, speed and agility as a midfielder. Lauchlan Bellingham Mackinnon
Lauchlan Bellingham Mackinnon (April 21, 1815 - 10 Jul 1877) was the Member of Parliament for Rye, Sussex, England from 1865 to 1868. He was the second son of William Alexander Mackinnon. He served with some distinction as a captain in the Royal Navy and wrote three books about his experiences: ''Atlantic and transatlantic: sketches afloat and ashore'', ''Steam Warfare in the Parana'' and ''Some Account of the Falkland Islands. John Lauchlan Farris (1911–1986) was a Canadian lawyer and judge. He served one term as President of the Canadian Bar Association, prior to being appointed Chief Justice of British Columbia. Lauchlan MacLean Watt FRSE (24 October 1867 – 11 September 1957) was the minister of Glasgow Cathedral from 1923–34, and the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 1933. He was a published poet and author, and a literary critic. Life Maclean Watt was born on 24 October 1867 at Grantown-on-Spey, Morayshire, the only son of Margaret Gillanders MacLean from Skye, and her husband Andrew MacLean Watt. He studied for a general degree at University of Edinburgh graduating with an MA in 1894. He then went on to study divinity, graduating with a BD in 1897. He received his licence to preach in the Church of Scotland at the Presbytery of Dalkeith on 12 May 1896. He was ordained as minister of Turriff in 1897.
