Latifa Bint Mohammed Al Maktoum (born 1983)
Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum ( ar, لَطِيْفَة بِنتِ مُحَمَّد ابْنِ رَاشِد آل مَكتُوم, translit=Latîfe bint-i Muhammed ibn-i Râşid Âl Mektûm; born 16 June 1983) is the chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority and a member of Dubai Council. She is also the vice chairman of Emirates Literature Foundation, a board member of Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives and honorary president of the Association of Graduates of Zayed University in Dubai. Biography Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Al Maktoum was born on 16 June 1983. She graduated from Zayed University with an Executive Master of Business Administration with Honors and a Bachelor of Business Science in Marketing. Sheikh (pronounced or ; ar, شيخ ' , mostly pronounced , plural ' )—also transliterated sheekh, sheyikh, shaykh, shayk, shekh, shaik and Shaikh, shak—is an honorific title in the Arabic language. Emirates Airline Festival Of Literature
The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature (The Festival) is an international literature festival held annually in the United Arab Emirates. The festival is held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, under the auspices of the Emirates Literature Foundation and is run by Ahlam Bolooki. The festival's offices are located within the Dubai International Writers' Centre. The festival is held each February in Dubai. It features more than 250 sessions and unique events including workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions and poetry readings.
