''Late August at the Hotel Ozone'' ( cs, Konec srpna v Hotelu Ozon) is a 1967 Czechoslovak science fiction film by director Jan Schmidt based on a screenplay by Pavel Juráček. Production Dana Medřická was originally considered for a role of Dagmar Hubertusová. The film was shot in an abandoned village near Mohelno. Plot The film follows a group of young women who live in a post-apocalyptic world after nuclear war. Jan Schmidt (3 January 1934 – 27 September 2019) was a Czech film director.Zemřel režisér Jan Schmidt. Autor Osady havranů patřil k Nové vlně šedesátých let
He directed sixteen films between 1960 and 1995. His 1969 film ''The Lanfier Colony'' was entered into the 6th Moscow International Film Festival.

Pavel Juráček
Pavel Juráček (; 2 August 1935 – 20 May 1989) was a Czech screenwriter and film director who studied at FAMU. Juráček started as a screenwriter for many Czech New Wave movies until he became a director. He worked in Prague at the Barrandov film studios; however after his satirical movie '' Case for a Rookie Hangman'' (1970) was shelved, he was fired from Barrandov and wasn't allowed to make movies anymore. Jan Klusák
Jan Klusák (born 18 April 1934 in Prague as Jan Porges) is a contemporary Czech composer, author of film, television and incidental music. Life Klusák was born to a Czech Jewish family, who owned a farm in Prosek, Prague. After he graduated from the gymnasium, he pursued his studies at the Prague Music Academy as a pupil of Jaroslav Řídký and Pavel Bořkovec (in 1953-57Vysloužil, p. 256). Later he concentrated solely on composing. He has never worked directly with music groups or schools, although his style was temporarily influenced by the music of Sergei Prokofiev and Igor Stravinsky, and later by the Second Viennese School, especially by Alban Berg and Serialism. Since 1959 he cooperated closely with Czech conductor Libor Pešek and with ''Chamber Philharmony''.
