Mary Jean Ramirez Lastimosa (; born 23 November 1987), also known as MJ Lastimosa, is a Filipino model, host, actress, TV presenter and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2014. She represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant and finished as a Top 10 semifinalist. Early life and education Lastimosa was born to an Arab father and a Filipino mother. She finished her Computer Engineering degree with honors at the University of Mindanao in Davao City. Leo Andanar Lastimosa (born September 26, 1964) is a veteran tri-media journalist in Cebu City, Philippines. He is a former anchorman for ABS-CBN's regional news program, TV Patrol Central Visayas, the host of current affairs program '' Arangkada'' over radio station DYAB, and a columnist in Cebu's newspaper ''The Freeman.'' Early life Lastimosa was a son of a farmer and a public school teacher. Growing up in Talisay in poverty, he dreamed of becoming a writer. In high school, he submitted an unsolicited article to the publisher of The Freeman, a Cebu local daily. His submission was published the next day, an event that encouraged him to pursue a journalistic career. He then took up a degree in political science at the University of San Jose-Recoletos. Carlo Dan Lastimosa (born September 3, 1990) is a Filipino professional basketball player for Pasig City MCW Sports of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He was drafted 20th overall by the Barako Bull in the 2013 PBA draft. Early life Lastimosa comes from a family of basketball players. He's the son of former Cebu team Mama's Love PABL player Danny Lastimosa, brother of the former captain of the UST women's volleyball team, Pamela Lastimosa, and nephew of PBA Legend and three-time Mythical Team awardee, Jojo Lastimosa. Binibining Pilipinas 2014 was the 51st edition of the Binibining Pilipinas. It was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 30, 2014. At the end of the event, Ariella Arida crowned Mary Jean Lastimosa as Miss Universe Philippines 2014, Bea Santiago crowned Bianca Guidotti as Binibining Pilipinas International 2014, Mutya Johanna Datul crowned Yvethe Marie Santiago as Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2014, and Cindy Miranda crowned Parul Shah as Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2014. Jojo Lastimosa
Isabelo "Jojo" Lastimosa Jr. (born March 10, 1964) is a Filipino former professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association for the Purefoods Hotdogs, the Alaska Aces and the Pop Cola Panthers from 1988 to 2002. He was also a former member of the Philippines' national basketball team during the 1980s and 1990s. He also played for the University of San Jose - Recoletos in Cebu City.
