Last Remains
"Last Remains" is a 2020 storyline published by Marvel Comics, starring the character Spider-Man. The events in this story seem to be a consequence of the events that occurred in 2007's '' One More Day'' storyline. This storyline features Spider-Man fighting against a new enemy, called Kindred who has taken control of Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, Anya Corazon, and Julia Carpenter. The entire storyline lasts from ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' (vol. 5) #50–55, with several tie-ins, and #56–57 being the epilogues. The main story received mixed to positive reviews, with critics praising the art style, and the character analysis of Spider-Man, but there was heavy criticism on the pacing, the unresolved plot threads, and the identity of Kindred. Mark Bagley
Mark Bagley (; born August 7, 1957) is an American comics artist. He has worked for Marvel Comics on such titles as ''The Amazing Spider-Man'', '' Thunderbolts'', ''New Warriors'', ''Venom'' and ''Ultimate Spider-Man'' and for DC Comics on ''Justice League of America'', ''Batman'' and ''Trinity''. Early life Mark Bagley was born to a military family in Frankfurt, West Germany. Career After his work in the military and at Ringling College of Art and Design, Bagley continued trying to break into the comic industry. While working a construction job, he suffered a severe injury to his leg while using a handsaw that required 132 stitches. He eventually ended up working for Lockheed Martin making technical drawings. Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew)
Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in ''Marvel Spotlight'' #32 (cover-dated February 1977), and 50 issues of an ongoing series titled ''Spider-Woman'' followed. At its conclusion, she was killed, and though later resurrected, she fell into disuse, supplanted by other characters using the name Spider-Woman. Her origin story relates that she was a brainwashed spy working for HYDRA. Writer Brian Michael Bendis added Spider-Woman to the roster of The New Avengers, which leads to her involvement in the "Secret Invasion" storyline. In 2009, the character received her second self-titled limited series, written by Bendis, which ran for seven issues. Gwen Stacy
Gwendolyne Maxine Stacy is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as a supporting character in those featuring Spider-Man. A college student and the daughter of George Stacy and Helen Stacy, she was the first romantic interest for Peter Parker following his high school graduation before she was murdered by the Green Goblin (Norman Osborn). Her death has haunted Peter ever since, and stories published long afterwards indicate she still holds a special place in his heart.
