''Last Dragon'' is the third solo studio album by American R&B recording artist Sisqó of Dru Hill. The album was released on February 10, 2015, via Massenburg Media and Dragon Music. In 2012, during a performance in Doha, Sisqó announced he was working on his third album. On December 10, Sisqó announced on his Twitter account that those who pre-order ''Last Dragon'' will be entitled to an instant download of the track "Round & Round". Mark Althavan Andrews (born November 9, 1978), known professionally as Sisqó (stylized as SisQó), is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and actor. He is most prominently known for "Thong Song", his membership in Dru Hill, and has also released solo material. Sisqo's successful debut solo album, ''Unleash the Dragon'' (1999), included the hit singles "Thong Song" and " Incomplete". Early life As a teen Andrews worked at The Fudgery in Harborplace at Baltimore's Inner Harbor with Larry "Jazz" Anthony, James "Woody" Green, and Tamir "Nokio" Ruffin. The quartet would be signed as the group Dru Hill to Island Records in 1996. He lived in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood at 908 Newington Avenue near Druid Hill Park which is where the group got their name. Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. Dragon Records
Dragon Records is a Swedish record company and label established in 1975 by journalist Lars Westin (born 1948) and pianist Jan Wallgren (1935-1996). It concentrates on Swedish jazz. As of 2002, the company was run by Westin. Dragon has issued several hundred albums by Swedish jazz musicians, both historic and contemporary recordings, and aural documentation of visits to Sweden by American musicians, among others including Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk and Lee Konitz. The label has issued a series of CDs by Lars Gullin featuring much of his recordings from the 1950s (at present, January 2018, eleven volumes have been released). Return Of Dragon
''Return of Dragon'' is the second solo studio album by American R&B recording artist Sisqó of Dru Hill, released on June 19, 2001 on Def Soul Records. The album did very well on the charts but its singles, "Can I Live" and "Dance for Me", were commercial disappointments compared to his debut album, ''Unleash the Dragon'' (1999). Despite the fact that Sisqó announced a third single, "Dream", this never materialized due to the commercial failure of the album. The song "Without You" was originally planned to be featured on Dru Hill's third album, ''Dru World Order'' but tensions grew between the group while working on the album and it was put on hold. ''Return of Dragon'' was later certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for excess of one million copies. ''Genesis EP'' is the second EP by American R&B recording artist Sisqó, released on November 29, 2019, under Dragon Music Group to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of his debut solo album, Unleash the Dragon. Background The album was confirmed in early November 2019 while Sisqó was touring Australia during the RNB Fridays Live RNB Fridays Live is an annual concert series held in Australia. Dru Hill
Dru Hill is an American R&B group, whose repertoire included soul, hip hop soul and gospel music. The group was founded in Baltimore in 1992 and is still active. Dru Hill recorded seven Top 40 hits, and is best known for the R&B number-one hits " In My Bed", "Never Make a Promise" and " How Deep Is Your Love".
