Lasse Qvist
Lasse Qvist (born January 17, 1987) is a Danish professional football player, who plays as a striker for GVI. Life and career Born in Roskilde, Qvist started playing football in local clubs Himmelev-Veddelev BK and KFUM Roskilde. From his early years, Lasse Qvist was a fan of F.C. Copenhagen (FCK), and as an 8-year-old boy, he had an FCK-shirt with the number 11 and his name printed on the back. Aged 14, he switched to the bigger club Lyngby BK and went on to play for various Danish youth national teams. He scored 18 goals in 20 matches for the Danish under-17 national team, and won the 2003 Danish ''Under-17 Player of the Year'' award. He also played at the 2003 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship. After three years at Lyngby, he moved to the youth academy of Dutch team PSV Eindhoven. Roskilde
Roskilde ( , ) is a city west of Copenhagen on the Danish island of Zealand. With a population of 51,916 (), the city is a business and educational centre for the region and the 10th largest city in Denmark. 2003 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship
The 2003 UEFA European Under-17 Championship was the second edition of UEFA's UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Portugal hosted the championship, during 7–17 May. The format of the competition changed, and only 8 teams entered the competition. Host Portugal defeated Spain in the final to win the competition for the fifth time. For winning their semifinals, Portugal and Spain qualified for the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship, held in Finland, with England and Austria missing out. Qualification Qualification for the final tournament of the 2003 UEFA European Under-17 Championship consisted of two rounds: a Qualifying round and an Elite round. In the qualifying round, 44 national teams competed in 11 groups of four teams, with two best teams of each group advancing to the elite round. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title. Jeppe Feldsted Brandrup (born 3 June 1985) is a Danish former professional football player. He played the positions as right-footed defender and right wingback as well as central midfielder. Brandrup played in KB, one of the two clubs behind F.C. Copenhagen, since his early childhood. While at KB, he made his debut for the Danish youth national teams in September 2001 and played 4 matches at the 2002 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship. Lillestrøm is a municipality in Viken county. It is located in the traditional district of Romerike. With a population of 85,757 inhabitants, it is the fourth most populated municipality in Viken. Royal League
The Royal League was an annual Scandinavian football tournament held three times between teams from the three Scandinavian monarchies (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway), starting after the end of the regular domestic seasons of Norway and Sweden. Denmark, however, was in mid-season when the tournament started. The four best-placed teams in the football leagues of Denmark, Norway and Sweden participate in the tournament. There was discussion of expanding the league, and include the winners of Veikkausliiga and Landsbankadeild, which are the Finnish and the Icelandic premier divisions.
