Mario Laserna Pinzón
Mario Laserna Pinzón (August 21, 1923 – July 16, 2013) was a Colombian educator and politician born in Paris of Colombian parents. Laserna Pinzón is credited for being the founder of the Los Andes University (Colombia), Los Andes University in Bogotá, which was incorporated in 1948 and is a private institution modeled on the Liberal arts colleges in the United States, United States liberal arts educational system. He also served as Senate of Colombia, Senator of Colombia, and Ambassador to France and Austria and is an author of several books. Paulo Gustavo Laserna Phillips (born 8 June 1953 in Ibagué, Tolima) is a Colombian journalist, political scientist, television presenter and businessman. He served as the CEO for Caracol TV between 2001 and 2011. Phillips was raised in Ibagué and belongs to a wealthy and influential family in Tolima, studied International Relations at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, political sciences and senior management from University of Los Andes, and holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University. Mr Laserna was a member of the Bogotá City Council and was adviser to Andrés Pastrana during his campaign to the Bogotá Mayorship in 1988. As a journalist, he worked at Caracol Radio, ''Q. A. P. Blas de Laserna Nieva (1751 in Corella, Navarra – 1816 in Madrid) was a Spanish composer. Biography Laserna was one of the most prolific and popular songwriters of late eighteenth and early nineteenth century Spain. Laguardia, Álava
Laguardia ( eu, Guardia) is a town and municipality located in the southern province of Álava, in the north of Spain; it belongs to the region of Rioja Alavesa, in the Basque Autonomous Community.
