Las Cabras is a Chilean commune and city in Cachapoal Province, O'Higgins Region. This commune is known for agriculture and handcrafts. The commune's name comes from the many goats (''cabras'', in Spanish) that used to be in the mountains. Demographics According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, Las Cabras spans an area of and has 20,242 inhabitants (10,621 men and 9,621 women). Andrés Pío Bernardino Chadwick Piñera (born 2 January 1956) is a Chilean right-wing politician and lawyer, member of the Independent Democrat Union (UDI) party. He began his political career as a supporter of the Pinochet dictatorship, and was present at the Acto de Chacarillas in 1977. Chadwick was elected deputy for the District #33 in 1989, and was re-elected in 1993. Peumo is a Chilean city and commune in Cachapoal Province, O'Higgins Region. It is believed that Peumo was named for the vast amount of Cryptocarya alba, or Peumo trees, that grow there. Chimbarongo, Chile, is a city and commune located south of Santiago in the Colchagua Province of the O'Higgins Region. San Fernando, Chile
San Fernando is the capital of the province of Colchagua, in central Chile, and the second most populated urban center of the O'Higgins Region.
