Larysa Denysenko
Larysa Volodymyrivna Denysenko ( uk, Лари́са Володи́мирівна Денисе́нко; born 17 June 1973) is a Ukrainian writer, lawyer, human rights activist, TV and radio presenter, and member of the PEN Ukraine. Biography Denysenko was born on 17 June in Kyiv. She is of Lithuanian- Greek origin with admixtures of Hungarian, Polish, Romani and Ukrainian blood. She mastered Ukrainian at the age of 23 when she started working at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. She graduated from the University of Kyiv, Law faculty, Central European University (Budapest) and attended a law course at the Ministry of Justice and Security. Denysenko lives in Kyiv. She is in a civil marriage and has two sons. She also collects snails. Legal career Denysenko conducts law practice. She is licensed to practice in Toronto and Ottawa on refugee and migrant matters. A woman is an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl (a female child or adolescent). 1+1 International is an international TV channel aimed at the Ukrainian diaspora, broadcasting throughout North America and Europe. It is the international sister channel of the Ukrainian channel 1+1 and started broadcasting in March 2006. 1+1 ( uk, один плюс один, translit=odyn plyus odyn) is a national Ukrainian language TV channel, owned by 1+1 Media Group. It has the second largest geographic reach of any channel in Ukraine, covering 95% of Ukraine's territory. History 1+1 TV channel was founded in August 1995, headed by its original president Alexander Rodnyansky who also was its general director from 1996 to 2002. In 2002 he joined STS Media and since 2004 he has been the president of that Delaware-registered Russian company.
