Lars Petter Sveen
Lars Petter Sveen (born 30 October 1981) is a Norwegian novelist. Sveen was born in Fræna. He made his literary debut in 2008 with the short story collection ''Køyre frå Fræna'', for which he received Tarjei Vesaas' debutantpris, as well as ''Aschehougs debutantstipend'' and ''Sunnmørsprisen''. He was awarded the Nynorsk Literature Prize in 2014, for the novel ''Guds barn''. Fræna
Fræna is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It was part of the region of Romsdal. The municipality was located on the Romsdal peninsula surrounding the Frænfjorden, the eastern shore of the Julsundet strait, and includes most of the Hustadvika area. It also included the now-abandoned Bjørnsund islands. The main village and administrative centre in Fræna was Elnesvågen with over 2,300 inhabitants. Moxy Engineering, Hustad Marmor, and Tine Meierier are all factories located in Elnesvågen. Other villages in Fræna included Hustad, Bud, Tornes, Sylte, Malme, and Aureosen. The area is nice for hiking, including the mountains are Heiane/Lågheiane and Jendemsfjellet. Tarjei Vesaas' Debutantpris
Tarjei Vesaas's debutantpris is a prize awarded annually for the best first literary work in Norwegian. It is awarded by the Norwegian Authors' Union, and the organisation's 9-member Literary Caucus constitutes the jury for the prize. They choose the winner based on a free and independent evaluation on aesthetic criteria. In accordance with an agreement between the Authors' Union and the Norwegian Publishers' Association, all newly published Norwegian literature is sent to all members of the Literary Caucus. The members thus choose the year's winner without there being any direct application for the prize. The winner is chosen at the Literary Caucus' annual 3-day January meeting, at which the caucus performs most of the tasks within its mandate, concerning stipends, guaranteed income and prizes. Kjersti Annesdatter Skomsvold (born 3 December 1979 in Oslo) is a Norwegian author who made her literary debut in 2009 with the novel ''Jo fortere jeg går, jo mindre er jeg'' (''The Faster I Walk, the Smaller I Am'').
