Lars Larsson (racing Driver)
Lars Christer Larsson (born December 11, 1965) is a former rallycross driver from Sweden. He is usually referred to as "Lasse" or sometimes as "Stinsen". Career Larsson started his rallycross career in the Swedish Rallycross Championship, winning the National Division in 1996, 1997 and 1998. He progressed to the FIA European Rallycross Championship in 2000, driving an Audi A4 in Division 1 for his own team. His breakthrough came in 2006, when he broke the dominance of Kenneth Hansen (rallycross), Kenneth Hansen, winning the Division 1 title by three points in a Škoda Fabia. He defended his title in 2007, with Hansen finishing second again. Retirement Larsson retired after the 2007 season and joined his family's trucking company in Svenljunga. His son Robin Larsson, Robin currently competes in the FIA European Rallycross Championship and is the 2014 Supercar Champion. Lars Larsson (archaeologist)
Lars Larsson (born 1947) is a Swedish writer, photographer, and adventurer. Chair of prehistoric archaeology at Lund University in Sweden, Larsson has devoted most of his research career to the Stone Age in southernmost Sweden. Among his fieldwork may be noted excavations at the Ageröd bog, famous Late Mesolithic cemeteries at Skateholm, a Mesolithic shell midden and a Neolithic megalithic tomb in Portugal. In the 1990s, Larsson directed excavations of Middle Palaeolithic cave settlements in northern Zimbabwe. In the 90s and 00s he has also made important contributions to the study of the 1st Millennium AD through excavations at Uppåkra near Lund. Lars Larsson (footballer)
Lars "Lasse" Larsson (16 March 1962 – 8 March 2015) was a Swedish footballer who played as a striker. He represented IFK Trelleborg, Malmö FF, and Atalanta during a career that spanned between 1979 and 1993. A full international between 1984 and 1987, he won nine caps and scored one goal for the Sweden national team. He was the 1987 Allsvenskan top scorer. Career Larsson started his career in native Trelleborg at IFK Trelleborg. He later moved to Malmö FF where he enjoyed the most success of his career. He went on to play for Atalanta Bergamo in 1984 but missed the majority of the 1984-85 season due to injury which also made him return to Malmö after having only played four matches in Serie A. Back in Malmö Larsson was successful again and won a Swedish championship in 1986 and became Allsvenskan top scorer in 1987. After a very brief tenure in Trelleborgs FF again due to injury Larsson ended his career and started a coaching career. He died at the age of 52 in 2015. Ho ... Arvingarna is a Swedish dansband formed in Gothenburg in 1989. The group consists of Casper Janebrink (vocals and bass guitar), Lars Larsson (guitars, vocals and keyboards), Kim Carlsson (vocals and guitars) and Tommy Carlsson (drums and vocals). At Melodifestivalen 1993, they performed the song '" Eloise", which won, allowing Arvingarna to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in Millstreet Co.Cork in May that year, where the song finished 7th. History Arvingarna was founded in 1989, following the members earlier having played heavy metal, without any major successes. The band's name ("The heirs") refers to the group member's parents, who also were active in dansbands. Arvingarna plays a form of dansband music that is it inspired by pop music and rock music, and has also being described as a boyband. Lars Axel Larsson (17 June 1911 – 29 January 1993) was a Swedish steeplechase runner. He retired in 1941 due to a leg injury and later worked as an office clerk. Lars Larsson Eldstierna (originally Eld) (c. 1623–1701) was a Swedish landshövding (governor) and the founder of the noble family of ''Eldstierna''. Lars Larsson Eld was the son of a vogt at Händelö named Lars (died 1657), whose possible patronym might have been Björnsson. Lars Larsson Eld was made a nobleman in 1662, being given the name Eldstierna. In 1691 he was raised further to baronage. He died as landshövding of Östergötland County. Lars-Erik Vilner Larsson (15 May 190827 December 1986) was a Swedish composer, conductor, radio producer, and educator. He wrote three of the most popular works (each a suite) in Swedish art music: ''A Winter's Tale'' (; 1937–1938), the '' Pastoral Suite'' (; 1938), and '' God in Disguise'' (; 1940). Other notable works by Larsson include three symphonies, a sinfonietta, and numerous concertante works. Biography Larsson was born in Åkarp in 1908, the son of a factory worker and a nurse. He studied with Ellberg at the Stockholm Conservatory (1925–1929) and with Alban Berg and Fritz Reuter in Vienna and Leipzig (1929–1930), then worked for Swedish Radio and taught at the Stockholm Conservatory (1947–1959) and Uppsala University, where he held the position as Director musices (1961–1966).
