Lars Bastrup
Lars Bastrup Jørgensen (born 31 July 1955) is a Denmark, Danish former professional Association football, football player, who most prominently played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker for Hamburger SV, winning two Bundesliga titles and the 1982–83 European Cup, 1983 European Cup with the club. He played 30 matches and scored ten goals for the Denmark national football team, Danish national team, and won the 1980 Danish Player of the Year, Danish ''Player of the Year'' award. Biography Born in Levring between Viborg, Denmark, Viborg and Silkeborg, Bastrup started his senior career with Silkeborg IF in 1973. He made his debut for the Danish national team in June 1975, while playing for IHF Aarhus. In December 1975, at the age of 20, Bastrup joined German team Offenbacher Kickers in the Bundesliga. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. The 1975–76 Bundesliga was the 13th season of the Bundesliga, West Germany's premier football league. It began on 9 August 1975 and ended on 12 June 1976. 1983 European Cup Final
The 1983 European Cup Final was a football match held at the Olympic Stadium, Athens, on 25 May 1983, that saw Hamburger SV of Germany defeat Juventus of Italy 1–0. Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Göteborg (officially IFK Göteborg Fotboll), commonly known as IFK Göteborg, IFK (especially locally) or simply Göteborg, is a Swedish professional football club based in Gothenburg. Felix Magath
Wolfgang Felix Magath (; born 26 July 1953) is a German football manager and former player. The most notable spell of his playing career was with Hamburger SV, with whom he won three Bundesliga titles, the 1977 European Cup Winners' Cup Final and the 1983 European Cup Final, scoring in both Finals. He also gained 43 international caps for the West Germany national team, winning UEFA Euro 1980 and reaching two consecutive World Cup finals. As a manager, Magath's honours include two consecutive Doubles (Bundesliga and German Cup titles) with Bayern Munich, and a further Bundesliga title with VfL Wolfsburg in 2009. Uli Stein
Ulrich "Uli" Stein (born 23 October 1954) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Between 1978 and 1997, made 512 appearances in the German Bundesliga. He began his career in 1978 with Arminia Bielefeld. After two years, he moved to Hamburger SV where he played from 1980 to 1987. From 1987 to 1994 he played for Eintracht Frankfurt, but in 1994 he returned to Hamburger SV. One year later, he transferred to Arminia Bielefeld again. He retired during the 1996–97 season. Horst Hrubesch
Horst Hrubesch (; born 17 April 1951) is a German professional football manager and former player who last managed Hamburger SV. As a player, Hrubesch won three West German championships with his club side, Hamburger SV, as well as the European Cup title in 1983. He was a key member of the West Germany team that made it to the final of the 1982 World Cup, losing to Italy.
