Larry Tearry
Larry Wayne Tearry (born April 24, 1956) is a former American football center who played two seasons with the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fourth round of the 1978 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wake Forest University and attended E.E. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost lineman of the offensive line on a football team's offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each play. The importance of centers for a football team has increased, due to the re-emergence of 3–4 defenses. According to Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome, "you need to have somebody who can neutralize that nose tackle. If you don't, everything can get screwed up. Wake Forest University is a private research university in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Erwin, formerly named Duke, is a town that is located in the eastern part of Harnett County, North Carolina, United States, located approximately from Dunn and approximately from Fayetteville.
