Larry MacDuff
Larry Mac Duff (born June 22, 1948) is an American football coach and former player. He played college football as a defensive end at Fullerton College (1966–1967) and Oklahoma (1968–1969). Mac Duff has eight years of NFL coaching experience. He was the special teams coach for the New York Giants for four years (1997–2000). During this time, the Giants won two NFC East Championships and represented the NFC in Super Bowl XXXV. Mac Duff was Special Teams Coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers for four years (2003–2006). Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. When most teams adopted a five-man line, two different styles of end play developed: "crashing" ends, who rushed into the backfield to disrupt plays, and "stand-up" or "waiting" ends, who played the more traditional containment style. Bronko Nagurski Trophy
The Bronko Nagurski Trophy has been awarded annually since 1993 to the collegiate American football defensive player adjudged by the membership of the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) to be the best in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. ''The San Diego Union-Tribune'' is a metropolitan daily newspaper published in San Diego, California, that has run since 1868. Its name derives from a 1992 merger between the two major daily newspapers at the time, ''The San Diego Union'' and the ''San Diego Evening Tribune''. The name changed to ''U-T San Diego'' in 2012 but was changed again to ''The San Diego Union-Tribune'' in 2015. In 2015, it was acquired by Tribune Publishing. Alliance Of American Football
The Alliance of American Football (AAF) was a professional American football minor league. The AAF consisted of eight centrally owned and operated teams in the southern and western United States, seven of which were located in metropolitan areas with at least one major professional sports franchise. Founded by Charlie Ebersol and Bill Polian in 2018, the AAF began play on February 9, 2019. The league was scheduled to have a 10-week regular season and conclude with a championship game on April 27. After eight weeks of play, however, the league's football operations were suspended by controlling owner Thomas Dundon on April 2. The United Football League (UFL) was a professional American football minor league based in the United States that began play in October 2009 and played four seasons, the final one being cut short in October 2012. The Pac-12 Conference is a collegiate athletic conference, that operates in the Western United States, participating in 24 sports at the NCAA Division I level. Tedy Lacap Bruschi (; born June 9, 1973) is a former professional American football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons, who currently serves as the senior advisor to the head coach at University of Arizona. Darryll Lewis
Darryll Lamont Lewis (born December 16, 1968) is an American retired professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). Lewis was born in Bellflower, California. After going to high school at Nogales High School in La Puente, California, he graduated in 1991 from the University of Arizona and was then drafted by the Houston Oilers (later the Tennessee Titans) in the second round (38th overall) of that year's NFL Draft. He was then traded to the San Diego Chargers in 1999 and again in 2000. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 1995 and was released by the Denver Broncos in 2001 after a 10-year career. He was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1995. Lewis finished his career with 32 interceptions, which he returned for 555 yards and 5 touchdowns.
