Lawrence Wayne Conjar (born October 28, 1945) is a former American football running back who played four seasons in the National Football League with the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Colts. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 1967 NFL Draft. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The 1967 National Football League draft was conducted March 14–15, 1967, at the Gotham Hotel in New York City. It was the first common draft with the AFL, part of the AFL–NFL merger agreement of June 1966. This draft was delayed as new guidelines were established; redshirt (or "future") players were no longer eligible.
