Larroque, Entre Ríos
Larroque (Argentina) is a city in the Entre Ríos Province, in north-eastern Argentina. It is located on the South of the province, between Gualeguay and Gualeguaychú. It has a population of 6,451 according to the 2010 Census. History Larroque was officially founded in 1909, when the train station of the same name of the General Urquiza Railway was inaugurated. The first settlers had established there in the 19th century, when the place was known as Kilometer 23. It is a municipality of first class since 1986. Alfredo Yabrán
Alfredo Enrique Nalib Yabrán (1 November 1944 – 20 May 1998) was a businessman in Argentina, with close links with the government, in particular with the administration of Carlos Saúl Menem. Yabrán killed himself while facing arrest for suspected involvement in the murder of photojournalist José Luis Cabezas. Biography Yabrán was born in Larroque, province of Entre Rios, in 1944, the seventh son of Nallib Miguel Yabrán and Emilia Tufic Marpez, both children of Lebanese immigrants. He moved to Buenos Aires in the early '60s, as he began to do business in the areas of security and banking transactions. In the '70s, he became one of the main shareholders of Ocasa, and at the end of President Raúl Alfonsín's term he began to operate airport security in Ezeiza. Annemarie Heinrich (9 January 1912 – 22 September 2005) was a German-born naturalized Argentine photographer, who specialized in portraits and nude photographs. Heinrich is considered one of Argentina's most important photographers. She is known for having photographed various celebrities of Argentine cinema, such as Tita Merello, Carmen Miranda, Zully Moreno and Mirtha Legrand; as well as other cultural personalities like Jorge Luis Borges, Pablo Neruda and Eva Perón. She also photographed landscapes, city scenes, animals, and abstracts. Her photographs of South America hold significant ethnographic value, showing changes to the area through the 20th century. General Urquiza Railway
The General Urquiza Railway (FCGU) (in Spanish: Ferrocarril General Urquiza), named after the Argentine general and politician Justo José de Urquiza, is a standard gauge railway of Argentina which runs approximately northwards from Buenos Aires to Posadas, with several branches in between. It was also one of the six state-owned Argentine railway companies formed after President Juan Perón's nationalisation of the railway network in 1948. Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos
Gualeguaychú is a city in the , on the left bank of the Gualeguaychú River (a tributary of the Uruguay River). It is located on the south-east of the province, approximately 230 km north-west of Buenos Aires. It has a population of 109,266 according to the 2010 Census. Gualeguay, Entre Ríos
Gualeguay is a city in the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina, on the Gualeguay River, about 226 km from the provincial capital Paraná and 234 km north-west from Buenos Aires. It has a population of about 39,000 inhabitants as per the . It should not be confused with Gualeguaychú (another city, 86 km away). Gualeguay was founded on March 20, 1783, by a military surveyor, Tomás de Rocamora, sent by the Viceroy of the Río de la Plata, Juan José de Vértiz y Salcedo.
