Larissa Crummer
Larissa Rose Crummer (born 10 January 1996) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Brisbane Roar in the W-League and the Australia women's national team, also known as the Matildas. She previously played for W-League clubs Melbourne City, Brisbane Roar FC, Sydney FC, and Newcastle Jets. Early life Raised in Tewantin, Queensland a suburb located in Australia's Sunshine Coast Region, Crummer began playing football at the age of 5. Crummer scored 12 goals at the national titles in 2011 and was a member of the Brisbane Premier League-winning team Peninsula Power FC the same year. 2013–14 W-League
The 2013–14 W-League season was the sixth season of the W-League, the Australian national women's association football competition. The season consisted of twelve matchdays followed by a finals series. The regular season started on 9 November 2013 and concluded on 9 February 2014. The Grand Final took place on 23 February 2014. Canberra United won the regular season, winning the Premier title. Melbourne Victory won the play-offs for the overall championship title. Ashleigh Sykes
Ashleigh Sykes (born 15 December 1991) is an Australian international football player, who plays for Canberra United FC in the W-League (Australia) and has previously played for Portland Thorns FC in the National Women's Soccer League. Early life Sykes grew up in Dubbo, New South Wales. She played for Dubbo SASS, and was also CSSA Athletics champion in 2006. She has a twin, Nicole, who is also a footballer. Playing career Club Sykes joined Canberra United along with her sister Nicole in the W-League whilst still finishing school for the league's inaugural season in 2008–09. She made her debut in Canberra's first match, coming on for Grace Gill in a loss to Newcastle Jets. The 2016 AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament was the 4th edition of the AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the quadrennial international football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to determine which women's national teams from Asia qualify for the Olympic football tournament. 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup
The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Canada for the first time and by a North American country for the third time. Matches were played in six cities across Canada in five time zones. Netherlands Women's National Football Team
The Netherlands women's national football team ( nl, Nederlands vrouwenvoetbalelftal) is directed by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), which is a member of UEFA and FIFA. 2019–20 W-League
The 2019–20 W-League season was the twelfth season of the W-League, the Australian national women's association football competition. Nine teams competed in the league, with most of the players from Australia but 33 of them from 11 other countries. Melbourne City was undefeated through the regular season, the third time this has occurred in the W-League and the second time it has been achieved by Melbourne City. The 2019–20 Australian bushfire season has had a significant impact on the season.
