Larisa Sokolov (Russian Лариса Соколова) is the wife of Aleksandr Sergeyevich Sokolov, Aleksandr S. Sokolov (Russian: Александр С. Соколов) the former Minister of Culture and Mass Communication of Russia. She is a member of the Union of Russian Composers, and has a Ph.d. in Musicology. Larissa (; el, Λάρισα, , ) is the capital and largest city of the Thessaly modern regions of Greece, region in Greece.
