The Cardenales de Lara ( en, Lara Cardinals) is a baseball team in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League. Barquisimeto
Barquisimeto (; guc, Watkisimeeta) is a city in Venezuela. It is the capital of the state of Lara and head of Iribarren Municipality. It is an important urban, industrial, commercial and transportation center of the country, recognized as the fourth-largest city by population and area in Venezuela after Caracas, Maracaibo and Valencia. Francisco Antonio Arcia (born September 14, 1989) is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher who is a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels. Oswald José Peraza ay-RAH-za(born October 19, 1962) is a Venezuelan former starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Baltimore Orioles (1988). He batted and threw right-handed. César David Izturis (; born February 10, 1980) is a Venezuelan former professional baseball shortstop. He is the half-brother of shortstop Maicer Izturis. Carlos Enrique Mendoza (born November 27, 1979) is a Venezuelan professional baseball coach for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball. Career Mendoza played in Minor League Baseball for 13 seasons. He entered the Yankees Minor League system for the 2009 season as a member of the Staten Island Yankees coaching staff before joining the Charleston RiverDogs in 2010. Carlos Luis Rivero Milán (born May 20, 1988) is a Venezuelan professional baseball third baseman for the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos of the Mexican League. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox.
