Lanzarote Independents Party
The Lanzarote Independents Party ( es, Partido de Independientes de Lanzarote, PIL), formerly the Lanzarote Independents Group ( es, Agrupación Independientes de Lanzarote, AIL), is a political party in Lanzarote ( Canary Islands). History Created in 1985 as the Lanzarote Independents Group (AIL) within the Canarian Independent Groups, in 1989 it was constituted as the Lanzarote Independents Party (PIL), later participating in the formation of the Canarian Coalition. After a series of discontents with the political line of the Coalition, the PIL dissociated itself from it. In the elections to the 2003 Canarian regional election, it presented itself in coalition with other parties such as the Canarian Nationalist Party within the Canarian Nationalist Federation. Teguise (municipality)
Teguise () is a municipality in the central part of the island of Lanzarote in the Las Palmas province in the Canary Islands. The population is 22,342 (as of 1 January 2019), and the area is 263.98 km2. It is located north of Arrecife and south of Haría. The seat of the municipality is the town of Teguise. Arrecife
Arrecife (; ; ) is the capital city and a municipality of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. It was made the island's capital in 1852. The city owes its name to the rock reef ("arrecife" being Spanish for "reef") which covers its local beach. It also gives its name to the nearby Arrecife Airport. The Nationalist Canary Party (PNC) is a nationalist political party in the Canary Islands. Its current headquarters are in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife. Precedents The first PNC (CNP) was founded in Havana, Cuba on 30 January 1924, by Jose G. Cabrera Díaz, a Canarian journalist who became president of the party.
