Lankeswarudu
''Lankeswarudu'' () is a 1989 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao, starring Chiranjeevi, Radha, Revathi, Kaikala Satyanarayana, Mohan Babu and Raghuvaran. Plot Shankar (Chiranjeevi) and Revathi are siblings and are orphans. To feed his hungry sister, Shankar steals bread from a nearby tea stall, at the same time, there is another orphan (Kalyan Chakravarthy) boy, who is also hungry and looking at them; Shankar gives him a piece of bread. Shankar takes up the responsibility of raising his younger sister and also the orphan. Shankar does everything possible to earn bread and butter for them, and slowly he transforms from a small-time thief to a small-time gang leader. Dasari Narayana Rao
Dasari Narayana Rao (4 May 1947 – 30 May 2017) was an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, lyricist, and politician known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema, in addition to Hindi cinema. He has directed more than 150 feature films in a variety of genres. He holds the '' Limca World Record'' for directing the most number of films in the world. He is known by the moniker ''Darsaka Ratna'' (). His works emphasize social injustice, corruption and gender discrimination. Narayana Rao has received two National Film Awards, nine state Nandi Awards including the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and four Filmfare Awards South including the Lifetime Achievement. Kaikala Satyanarayana
Kaikala Satyanarayana (25 July 1935 – 23 December 2022) was an Indian actor, producer, director, and politician who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He appeared in over 750 films and served as the Member of Parliament in the 11th Lok Sabha representing Machilipatnam constituency from Telugu Desam Party. He was the recipient of the 2011 Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and 2017 Filmfare Award for lifetime achievement in Telugu cinema. Early life Kaikala Satyanarayana was born on 25 July 1935 to Kaikala Laxmi Narayana from Kavutaram village in Krishna district. Thotakura Somaraju and Saluri Koteswara Rao, popularly known as Raj–Koti were Indian film music composers, singer-songwriters, record producers, musicians and multi-instrumentalists duo in Telugu cinema, In a notable career spanning a decade, the duo has garnered particular acclaim for redefining contemporary Telugu film music.
