Alfredo Angeli (7 August 1927, in Livorno – 25 November 2005, in Rome) was an Italian director and screenwriter. Born in Livorno, Angeli entered the cinema industry in 1958, being the assistant director of Luigi Zampa in ''The City Stands Trial''; after having collaborated with, among others, Camillo Mastrocinque and Vittorio Cottafavi, in the early 1960s he started working as a director of commercial, and between the 1960s and the 1990s he directed over 3,000 commercials. He made his feature film directorial debut in 1967, with the satirical '' The Strange Night'', which was entered into the 17th Berlin International Film Festival. Bernardino Zapponi (4 September 1927 – 11 February 2000) was an Italian novelist and screenwriter best known for his films written in collaboration with Federico Fellini. Biography Zapponi was born in Rome in 1927. He began his literary career writing for ''Orlando'' and ''Marc'Aurelio'', two well-established Italian satirical magazines, later branching out into radio and television. An expert in literary innovation, Zapponi founded the cult magazine ''Il Delatore'' (''The Spy''), and published four novels including ''Gobal'', a famous collection of short stories, as well as songs, plays and theatre sketches. Luigi "Gigi" Proietti (2 November 1940 – 2 November 2020) was an Italian actor, voice actor, comedian, musician, singer and television presenter. Early life He was born in Rome to Romano Proietti, originally from Umbria, and Giovanna Ceci, a housewife. During his youth he was keen on singing and on playing guitar, piano, accordion and double bass in several Roman nightclubs. He enrolled in the Faculty of Law at the La Sapienza University, where he attended the mimicry courses of the University Theatre Centre held by Giancarlo Cobelli, who immediately noticed his talent as a musician and booked him for an avantgarde play. Giovanna Ralli, (born 2 January 1935), is an Italian stage, film and television actress. Life and career Born in Rome, Ralli debuted as a child actress at 7; at 13 she made her theatrical debut, entering the stage company of Peppino De Filippo. After appearing in Federico Fellini and Alberto Lattuada's ''Variety Lights'' (1950), Ralli had her first film roles of weight in mid-fifties, often in comedy films. In 1959 she had a leading role in Roberto Rossellini's '' General Della Rovere'', that won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, while in 1960 her performance in '' Escape by Night'', still directed by Rossellini, was awarded with the Golden Gate Award for Best Actress at the San Francisco International Film Festival. A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement. Nerina Montagnani (20 April 1897 – 4 November 1993) was an Italian character actress. Life and career Born in Maranello, Modena, Montagnani graduated as a teacher. Starting in 1918 she worked as a governess and a gardener in many noble houses in France and Italy.
