Langston Hall
Langston Avery Hall (born November 1, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for Bahçeşehir Koleji of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) and Basketball Champions League. He played at the collegiate level with the Mercer Bears, and was named Atlantic Sun Player of the Year in his final year. High school career Hall played high school basketball at Chamblee Charter High School, in Atlanta, Georgia. College career Hall played college basketball at Mercer College from 2010 to 2014. During his college career, he has been selected as the Atlantic Sun Player of the Year in 2014 and he was awarded with the Lou Henson Award the same year. In 2012, he led Mercer to the CIT Tournament Championship and was named MVP of the Tournament. In 2014, he led Mercer to their first NCAA Tournament in 29 years. The Duke Blue Devils are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Duke University, located in Durham, North Carolina. Duke's athletics department features 27 varsity teams that all compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level. The name comes from the French "les Diables Bleus" or "the Blue Devils," which was the nickname given during World War I to the Chasseurs Alpins, the French Alpine light infantry battalion. College Basketball
In United States colleges, top-tier basketball is governed by collegiate athletic bodies including National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). Atlantic Sun Conference
The ASUN Conference, formerly the Atlantic Sun Conference, is a collegiate athletic conference operating mostly in the Southeastern United States. The league participates at the NCAA Division I level, and began sponsoring football at the Division I FCS level in 2022. Lou Henson Award
The Lou Henson Award is an award given annually by ''CollegeInsider.com'' to the most outstanding mid-major men's college basketball player in NCAA Division I competition. The award, established in 2010, is named for legendary Illinois Fighting Illini head coach Lou Henson. Henson, who also coached at Hardin–Simmons and New Mexico State, compiled 779 all-time wins. He is in the top 10 of NCAA coaching wins in men's basketball history. Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player Of The Year
The ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year is an annual basketball award given to the ASUN Conference's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1978–79 season, the first year of the ASUN's existence, when it was known as the Trans America Athletic Conference (TAAC). Only one player, Willie Jackson of Centenary, has won the award three times (1982–84). Centenary has the most all-time winners with six, but left the conference in 2000, when the league was still known as the TAAC. There has been only one tie in the award's history, which occurred in 1997–98 between Mark Jones of Central Florida and Sedric Webber of the College of Charleston. Among the 14 current ASUN members, only four have had a winner— Florida Gulf Coast, Liberty, Lipscomb, and North Florida. HEBA Greek All Star Game
The HEBA Greek All-Star Game, also known as the EKO Greek All-Star Game for sponsorship reasons, is the All-Star Game of the HEBA (Greek: ΕΣΑΚΕ) Greek professional basketball association for men. It was founded and organized by Gus Sarianides. The men's all-star game has most often been played in a format featuring the Greek All-Stars, versus the Rest of the World All-Stars. There is also a men's slam dunk competition, and a men's 3-point shootout competition. The all-star weekend also features a game between under age 22 players and senior age players (players that are retired professionals), called the Rising Stars versus the All-Time Stars. 2020–21 Basketball League Of Serbia
The 2020–21 Basketball League of Serbia ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашка лига Србије 2020–21.) is the 15th season of the Basketball League of Serbia, the top-tier professional basketball league in Serbia. Also, it's the 77th national championship played by Serbian clubs inclusive of the nation's previous incarnations as Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. The season is the first to be played after the previous season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Serbia. The Basketball Federation of Serbia ruled that the 13 teams from the previous season will stay in the league and the three highest-placed clubs from Second League will be promoted.
