Langfjordbotn, Alta
or is a village in Alta Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. Langfjordbotn is located at the innermost end of the Langfjorden, a part of the main Altafjorden. Langfjordbotn has a population (2012) of 114 residents. The village lies along the European route E06 highway, just east of the municipal (and county) border with Kvænangen. Langfjord Church lies about northeast of the centre of the village, on the north shore of the fjord. Langfjordbotn is known for its lush nature, and good conditions for growing potatoes and berries. Langfjordbotn is a popular destination for tourists from all over the world, most on their way to the North Cape, but many stay an extra day. In Bognelvdalen, a valley at the end of the fjord, there is an old tourist attraction called "Bubbelen". Finnmark
Finnmark (; se, Finnmárku ; fkv, Finmarku; fi, Ruija ; russian: Финнмарк) was a county in the northern part of Norway, and it is scheduled to become a county again in 2024. On 1 January 2020, Finnmark was merged with the neighbouring county of Troms to form the new Troms og Finnmark county. On 1 January 2024, the county will be demerged back to the counties Finnmark and Troms, after a decision made by parliament on 15 June 2022. German Battleship Scharnhorst
''Scharnhorst'' was a German capital ship, alternatively described as a battleship or battlecruiser, of Nazi Germany's ''Kriegsmarine''. She was the lead ship of her class, which included her sister ship . North Cape, Norway
North Cape ( no, Nordkapp; sme, Davvenjárga) is a cape on the northern coast of the island of Magerøya in Northern Norway. The cape is in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The European route E69 highway has its northern terminus at North Cape, which makes it the northernmost point in Europe that can be accessed by car and makes the E69 the northernmost public road in Europe.
