Lane Turner
Michael Lane Turner (born February 3, 1967, in Monahans, Texas) is an American singer-songwriter. Signed to Warner Bros. Records since 2004, he released two singles for the label, including "Always Wanting More (Breathless)", which reached No. 56 on the Hot Country Songs charts in 2004. Lane signed with Original Signal Recordings in 2009. Early life Turner was born in Monahans, Texas, and attended school in Levelland, which he described as "a place so flat you can watch your dog run away for two days". He received his first guitar as a gift from his parents when he was eleven years old and his father taught him to play the songs he heard on the radio. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where he was an All-American decathlete. He also played in a band called Diamondback during his time in college. Monahans, Texas
Monahans is a city in and the county seat of Ward County, Texas, United States. A very small portion of the city extends into Winkler County. The population was 6,953 at the 2010 census. In 2018, the population was estimated at 7,669. History The Permian Basin, home to Monahans and Midland-Odessa combined statistical area, is wide and long; Monahans is "The Center of the Permian Basin". The basin was formed during the Permian period, the final portion of the Paleozoic era. At the time, it was an ocean filled with abundant aquatic life. In 1583, Spanish explorer Antonio de Espejo crossed this area on his way through present-day New Mexico. The Indians in the Monahans region were called ''vaqueros'' by these Spanish explorers because they hunted the "hump-backed cattle" or bison. Ned LeDoux is an American country music singer and songwriter. He has released two studio albums. He also has his own live show on Instagram with Big Das Lawrence. History Ned LeDoux was born in Kaycee, Wyoming, also the hometown of his father, country music singer Chris LeDoux. The younger LeDoux began playing drums in his father's road band, Western Underground, in 1998. LeDoux began recording solo material in 2015, working with producer Mac McAnally.
