Magne Landrø
Magne Landrø (24 August 1937 – 10 March 2022) was a Norwegian sport shooter. He was born in Trondheim. He competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, and at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. His achievements include a gold medal in the 1963 European championships, a World championship silver medal in free rifle in 1966, and a silver medal in 10 m air rifle at the 1969 European Shooting Championships. He further won 26 national titles in various rifle shooting events. He was crowned "Shooting King" at Landsskytterstevnet three times, in 1961, 1976 and 1981. Landrø died in Lillestrøm Lillestrøm is a municipality in Viken county. It is located in the traditional district of Romerike. Vegar Landro (born 21 February 1983) is a Norwegian footballer who plays for Bryne FK. He has formerly played for Nest-Sotra, Vadmyra IL, SK Brann, Kongsvinger IL and Løv-Ham. Landro Church
Landro Church ( no, Landro kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Landro. It is one of the three churches for the Fjell parish which is part of the Vesthordland prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, concrete church was built in a rectangular design in 1977 using plans drawn up by the architect Aksel Fronth. The church seats about 400 people. History In 1906, the village of Landro got a small prayer house. In 1923, the prayer house was consecrated for church use as an annex chapel. In 1974, the parish to build a church in Landro to replace the small chapel. Aksel Fronth was hired to design the new church. He designed a square building with a roof like a pyramid. The new church was consecrated on 11 December 1977.
