In the final four "Range Busters" movies, "Crash" Corrigan returned to the series, and starred alongside Dennis Moore and Max Terhune, replacing John "Dusty" King and "Davy" Sharpe. Ted Mapes
Ted Mapes (November 25, 1901 – September 9, 1984) was an American character actor, who was also a prolific stuntman and body double. Born on November 25, 1901, in St. Edward, Nebraska, he moved to Los Angeles in his mid-20s, and entered the film industry in 1929, first as a grip, and then as a stuntman and actor. He doubled for many famous actors, including Jimmy Stewart and Gary Cooper. His film and television career spanned forty years, during which time he appeared in hundreds of films and television shows, either as an actor, stuntman or body double. After his career in front of the camera ended in 1969, Mapes became an advocate for animal safety in films, working as an observer on sets for the American Humane Association. Johnny Lange
John George Lange (August 15, 1905 – January 6, 2006) was an American songwriter, working mostly in the motion picture industry. His chief musical collaborators were Archie Gottler and Jack Meskill. Biography Lange was born in Philadelphia and attended high school there. He began writing for film studios in 1937, and joined ASCAP in 1940. He resumed his film music career in 1946 and 1947, after World War II. He also wrote special material for night club singers, and the "Ice Capades of 1950". Lange's most popular composition was " Mule Train" which earned him an Academy Award nomination in 1950 (it was featured in the film '' Singing Guns''). The ASCAP online database shows him as the author of 211 songs. Fred "Snowflake" Toones (January 5, 1906 – February 13, 1962) was an American actor and comedian. He appeared in over 200 films in his career spanning 23 years.
