Lance Painter
Lance Telford Painter (born July 21, 1967) is an English former Major League Baseball left-handed pitcher who played for the Colorado Rockies (-), St. Louis Cardinals (-, ), Toronto Blue Jays (-), and Milwaukee Brewers (). Although he started 28 games, Painter is most known as a reliever. Professional career Painter played college baseball at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Painter was drafted in the 25th round of the 1990 Major League Baseball Draft by the San Diego Padres. While playing with the Rockies in the 1995 National League Division Series, 1995 NLDS he pinch hit in the ninth inning of game one (Strikeout, striking out), then started the next day in a losing effort against the Atlanta Braves. During the season with the Cardinals, Painter appeared in 65 games, went 4–0, and posted a 3.99 Earned run average, ERA. Painter appeared in 314 major league games and posted a career ERA of 5.24. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, a town on the outskirts of Appleton, Wisconsin, Appleton in the Fox Cities, and are named for the timber rattlesnake, which is more commonly found in southwest Wisconsin. The team plays their home games at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium, which opened in 1995. They previously played at Nienhaus Field, Goodland Field from their founding in 1958 until the end of the 1994 season. The Jackson Generals were a professional baseball team located in Jackson, Tennessee. From 1998 to 2020, they were a part of Minor League Baseball's Southern League (SL) as the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs (1998–2006), Seattle Mariners (2007–2016), and Arizona Diamondbacks (2017–2020). Known as the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx from 1998 to 2010, the team borrowed its Generals moniker from the original Jackson Generals in 2011. The Clinton LumberKings are a collegiate summer baseball team of the Prospect League. They are located in Clinton, Iowa, and play their home games at NelsonCorp Field.
