Lancaster Inferno FC
Lancaster Inferno is a top level amateur women's soccer club based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2008, the club fields a first team that plays in United Women's Soccer (UWS), a national pro-am league at the second tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, and a U23 team that competes in UWS League Two. United Women's Soccer
United Women's Soccer (UWS, also commonly abbreviated UWS) is a second-division pro-am women's soccer league in the United States. The league was founded in 2015 as a response to the dual problems of disorganization in the WPSL and of the folding of the original USL W-League. The league began play in May 2016 with eleven teams in two conferences. The first league currently has 45 teams in 6 conferences and second league currently has 49 teams in 6 conferences. Extra Time
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. Ottawa Fury Women was a Canadian women's soccer team based in Ottawa, Ontario. Founded in 2000, the team was a member of the United Soccer Leagues USL W-League, the second tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada. The team competed in the W-League's Central Conference with the rest of the league's Canadian clubs. WDEL (1150 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Wilmington, Delaware, airing a News/Talk radio format. Its programming is simulcast on co-owned station 101.7 WDEL-FM. Established in 1968, it has been run by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) since the 2018–19 season, and currently features 10 teams. The Ekstraliga ( en, Extra League) is the top Polish league for women's association football teams. The league's first season was in 1979–80. Initially, it was called ''I liga polska kobiet''. The first title holder was Czarni Sosnowiec. In 2005, the league was renamed to ''Ekstraliga kobiet''. The winner of the league qualifies for the UEFA Women's Champions League. KKPK Medyk Konin is a Polish women's football club from Konin. Medyk Konin was founded in 1985. Since its promotion to the top league, the team has always finished near the top. Their best result was 2nd place in 2002–03, 2003–04, 2005–06 and 2007–08. Sydney Blomquist (born August 31, 1993) is an American professional soccer player from Bel Air, Maryland. She plays for Avaldsnes IL in the Norwegian Toppserien League. Early life Blomquist was born on August 31, 1993, in Baltimore, Maryland to Joel and Nancy Blomquist. Blomquist played her high school soccer at Fallston High School, where she was a 4-year varsity starter. Medkila IL is a football team from Harstad in North Norway, most notable for its women's football team which is playing in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian women's football. Medkila first came to prominence after winning the 2003 Norwegian Women's Cup while playing in the First Division. Medkila knocked out Leknes FK (1-10), Grand Bodø (1-5), IF Fløya (2-1), IL Sandviken (6-1) and Team Strømmen (1-3), and beat Kolbotn (2-1) in the final.
