Lamont Robinson
Lamont J. Robinson Jr. is an American insurance agent, educator, and politician who is a Democratic State representative of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 5th district. The Chicago-based district includes all or parts of the Near North Side, Chicago Loop, Near South Side, Douglas, Grand Boulevard, and Greater Grand Crossing. Robinson is the owner of two Allstate insurance agencies and is an adjunct professor at various City Colleges of Chicago campuses. He is openly gay and is the first LGBTQ African-American person to serve in the Illinois legislature. In 2019, Robinson completed Harvard Kennedy School's program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government as David Bohnett Leadership Fellow. Juliana Stratton
Juliana Stratton (née Wiggins; born September 8, 1965) is an American lawyer and politician, serving as the 48th lieutenant governor of Illinois since 2019. She previously served as a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 2017 to 2019. She is the first African-American woman to become Illinois' lieutenant governor, and the state's fourth woman lieutenant governor overall, after Corinne Wood, Sheila Simon, and Evelyn Sanguinetti. The Illinois General Assembly is the legislature of the U.S. state of Illinois. It has two chambers, the Illinois House of Representatives and the Illinois Senate. Kenneth Dunkin (born February 12, 1966), commonly known as Ken Dunkin, is an American politician. He is currently an appointed member of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Board of Commissioners.
