Lalo RÃos (7 February 1927 – 7 March 1973) was a Mexican-born American actor best known for his lead role in '' The Ring'' (1952) as Tommy. Biography Lalo RÃos was born on February 7, 1927, in San Miguelito, Sonora, Mexico. At the age of 9 he moved to East Los Angeles, California, with his family. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. During RÃos' work as a carpenter he got his first acting role with the Paramount film ''The Lawless'' (1950)''.'' The film cast RÃos as a young Mexican who faces a racist lynch mob in a small North California town. Since his start, his career spanned nearly twenty years. In 1952, RÃos was then cast in his most well-known role as "Tommy", in '' The Ring'' (1952), in which he played the lead actor and protagonist. Ubaldo RodrÃguez Santos (May 16, 1958 – December 13, 2022), known professionally as Lalo RodrÃguez, was a Puerto Rican salsa music, salsa singer recognized as one of the pioneers of the subgenre of Salsa romántica, Romantic or Erotic Salsa. Early life Rodriguez was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on May 16, 1958 to parents Magdalena Santos and Jose Rodriguez. At age nine, he started singing in traditional Puerto Rican festivals, as well as on radio and television programs. "RodrÃguez won a children's talent contest at the age of seven and at 12 he was part of the Tempo Moderno orchestra, in which he remained for four years."
