''Laleh'' is the self-titled debut album by Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh, released on 30 March 2005 on Warner Music Sweden Records. The album, which was both written and produced by Laleh herself, was nominated to "Album of the Year" at the Grammis Awards for 2005 but lost to pop singer Robyn for her self-titled album "''Robyn''". The album was also a success on the Swedish Albums Chart where it peaked at number one and stayed on the list for 71 weeks. The album is sung in English, Swedish and Persian. Laleh Pourkarim ( fa, لاله پورکریم, ; born 10 June 1982), known mononymously as Laleh (), is an Iranian-Swedish singer-songwriter, record producer, guitarist, pianist, and record company manager. Following a short acting career, she entered the music industry in 2005 with her self-titled debut album, which peaked at number one in Sweden and went on to become that country's highest selling album of the year. She has since released eight further studio albums. She has sung in both English and Swedish, in addition to her parents' native tongue, Persian. In 2011, she participated in the Swedish television show , which sees a number of artists create new interpretations of the others' songs. ''Robyn'' is the fourth studio album by Swedish singer Robyn. It was originally released in 2005 in Sweden and Norway only by Konichiwa Records. It was later released in other territories throughout 2007 and 2008. The album represented a departure from Robyn's previous urban and R&B musical style, and explored synth-pop and dance-pop music, with inspirations from electronic duo The Knife and rock band Teddybears. It also marks Robyn's first album release on her own record label, Konichiwa Records, which she founded in 2005. The album debuted at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart in 2005, becoming Robyn's first-ever number-one album on the chart. Nino Ramsby, born ''Nina'' Ramsby, is a Swedish singer-songwriter and musician from Stockholm. During the 1990s he was the vocalist and guitarist for the alternative rock band Salt. He was also part of the bands Baxter and Grand Tone Music. Ramsby was born to a Finnish mother and a Swedish father. In 2006 Ramsby released an album titled ''Jazzen'' with Martin Hederos on Amigo. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
