Lalas Abubakar
Alhassan "Lalas" Abubakar (born December 25, 1994) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids. Early life Born in Kumasi, Abubakar was raised in the Ghanaian capital of Accra and attended the University of Ghana. He participated in the football team at the university and in 2013, after one of his teammates was selected to join the Dayton Flyers program in the United States, Abubakar was also offered to join after his friend recommended him. Despite having a couple offers in Europe, Abubakar decided to attend the University of Dayton in Ohio and play college soccer for the Flyers. The Columbus Crew, formerly known as Columbus Crew SC, is an American professional soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio. The Crew competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference and began play in 1996 as one of the 10 charter clubs of the league. The 2019 Columbus Crew SC season was the club's twenty-fourth season of existence and their twenty-fourth consecutive season in Major League Soccer, the top flight of American soccer. Columbus also competed in the U.S. Open Cup and took part in the Carolina Challenge Cup during preseason. Caleb Porter
Caleb Porter (born February 18, 1975) is an American soccer coach who most recently served as the head coach of Major League Soccer club Columbus Crew from 2019 to 2022. He was previously head coach of the Portland Timbers from 2013 until 2017. He won MLS Cup in 2015 with Portland and 2020 with Columbus. In addition to MLS, he coached the United States U-23 team in 2011–12, and the University of Akron men's team from 2006 to 2012, winning the NCAA title in 2010. A former midfielder, he played college soccer for Indiana University before his short professional career in Major League Soccer and the United Soccer League was ended by persistent knee injuries. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The 2017 MLS SuperDraft was the eighteenth SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The SuperDraft is held each year in conjunction with the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America convention. Calgary Foothills Football Club (CFFC) is a Canadian soccer club based in Calgary, Alberta, that competes in USL League Two (USL2). Flint City Bucks is an American soccer team based in Flint, Michigan, United States. Founded in 1995, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid.
