Lakshamilavan, also spelled Lakshami Lavan ( th, ลักษมีลาวัณ; ; 3 July 1899 – 29 August 1961), née Princess Wanphimon Worawan ( th, วรรณพิมล วรวรรณ), was a Thai writer and a member of the Thai royal family. She was a royal consort of King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) of Siam. Her father was Worawannakon, Prince Narathip Praphanphong, a well-accepted poet and artist of the day. Early life and marriage Princess Lakshamilavan was born at the Worawan Palace, on 3 July 1899, the only daughter of Worawannakon, Prince Narathip Praphanphong and ''Mom Luang'' (The Honourable) Tat Montrikul, and best known in the palace by her nickname of "Tew" ( th, ติ๋ว; ). Vajiravudh
Vajiravudh ( th, วชิราวุธ, , 1 January 188126 November 1925) was the sixth monarch of Siam under the Chakri dynasty as Rama VI. He ruled from 23 October 1910 until his death in 1925. King Vajiravudh is best known for his efforts to create and promote Siamese nationalism. His reign was characterized by Siam's movement further towards democracy and minimal participation in World War I. He had keen interests in Siamese history, archaeology, and literature, as well as economics, politics and world affairs, and founded the country's first university, Chulalongkorn University. Education Vajiravudh was born on 1 January 1881 to Chulalongkorn and one of his four queens and half sister Saovabha Phongsri. Vallabha Devi also spelled Warnrabhathewee ( th, วัลลภาเทวี; ; 25 October 1892 – 7 April 1951), born Princess Wanwimon Worawan ( th, วรรณวิมล วรวรรณ), was the eldest child and first daughter of Worawannakon, Prince Narathip Praphanphong and Lady In. Phra Sucharit Suda ( th, สุจริตสุดา; 13 November 1895 – 1 January 1982), formerly Prueng Sucharitakul ( th, เปรื่อง สุจริตกุล; ), daughter of Chao Phraya Sudharm Montri, was the High concubine of King Rama VI.
