Lake Park Marching Band
Lake Park High School is a four-year public high school occupying two campuses, both located in Roselle, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. Freshmen and sophomores attend the East Campus (the original campus built in 1956), located near Medinah, and juniors and seniors attend the West Campus. It is part of the Lake Park Community High School District 108. Students from Roselle, Medinah, Bloomingdale, Itasca, Wood Dale, Keeneyville, and Hanover Park attend the school. History The name "Lake Park" is derived from the campuses being between "Lake" Street and Irving "Park" Road. The citizens of northwestern DuPage County, Illinois founded Lake Park High School District 108 in 1953, and the doors opened at what is now East Campus, 600 South Medinah Road, Roselle, in September 1956 to 320 students. Lake Street (Chicago)
Lake Street is an east–west street in Chicago and part of its suburbs. A portion of Lake Street is designated as U.S. Route 20. Lake Street begins in downtown Chicago and travels west to the eastern terminus of the Elgin Bypass around suburban Elgin. The street travels west through the city and then begins to travel in a northwest fashion through several suburbs. The street is a distance of roughly . The 1984 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the XXIII Olympiad and also known as Los Angeles 1984) were an international multi-sport event held from July 28 to August 12, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, United States. Mark Gorski
Mark Brian Gorski (born January 6, 1960) is a 1984 Olympic Gold medal-winning cyclist in the 1000m match sprint from the United States. He attended Lake Park High School in Roselle, Illinois and the University of Michigan. Gorski was a member of the 1980, 1984 and 1988 Olympic Teams and won a gold medal in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles in the 1000 meter sprint cycling event. He was inducted into the U.S. Cycling Hall of Fame in 1995. He served as a commentator for NBC at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and has done numerous speaking engagements over the past 20 years. As a senior at Lake Park High School, Lindsay Flanagan was 2008 Illinois High School Association 3A cross country state champion. Tim Ehrhardt (born March 16, 1995) is an American athlete specializing in decathlon and pole vault. High school Ehrhardt graduated from Lake Park High School in 2013 in Roselle, Illinois. NCAA Ehrhardt graduated from Michigan State University. Ehrhardt is a 6-time NCAA Division I First Team All-American, a former resident of Whitehills, and a 3-time Big Ten Conference Track and field champion. Ehrhardt holds Michigan State Spartans records in the indoor pole vault and decathlon 8,044 points. Michele Christopher Di Nunno (born January 29, 1990) is an American-Italian professional basketball player, playing the point guard position. Born in Maywood, Illinois, he played high school basketball at Lake Park and Von Steuben. Initially, he committed to Northern Illinois to play college basketball, where he received MAC All-Freshman team honors. After two seasons, he transferred to Eastern Kentucky. DiNunno was named in the OVC All-Newcomer team in his junior season and first team all-OVC in his senior season at Eastern Kentucky. Following his graduation, he has played professionally in several leagues in Europe. In 2019 he won the Icelandic championship as a member of KR. Helene-Lange-Gymnasium
The Helene Lange Gymnasium (''HLG'') is a public gymnasium (high school) in the city of Hamburg, Germany.
