''The Lady from the Sea'' ( no, Fruen fra havet, link=no) is a Play (theatre), play written in 1888 by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen inspired by the ballad ''Agnete og Havmanden''. The drama introduces the character of Hilde Wangel who is again portrayed in Ibsen's later play ''The Master Builder''. Henrik Johan Ibsen (; ; 20 March 1828 – 23 May 1906) was a Norwegian playwright and theatre director. Robert Davidson is an Australian composer and lecture in music at the University of Queensland. Professor Frank McGuinness (born 1953) is an Irish writer. Craig Armstrong, (born 29 April 1959) is a Scottish composer of modern orchestral music, electronica and film scores. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 1981, and has since written music for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta. Armstrong's score for Baz Luhrmann's ''Romeo + Juliet'' earned him a BAFTA for Achievement in Film Music and an Ivor Novello.
