Ladin Wikipedia
The Ladin Wikipedia is the Ladin-language edition of Wikipedia, a free, open-content encyclopedia. Started in August 2020, it has articles as of and active registered users. It reached 10,000 articles in January 2022 and 40,000 in June 2022. The Ladin Wikipedia should not be confused with the ''Ladino'' Wikipedia (another name for Judaeo-Spanish Wikipedia) or the Latin Wikipedia. Ladin (, also ; autonym: , it, ladino; german: Ladinisch) is a Romance language of the Rhaeto-Romance subgroup, mainly spoken in the Dolomite Mountains in Northern Italy in the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino, and Belluno, by the Ladin people. It exhibits similarities to Swiss Romansh and Friulian. The precise extension of the Ladin language area is a subject of scholarly debate. A more narrow perspective includes only the dialects of the valleys around the Sella group, while wider definitions comprise the dialects of adjacent valleys in the Province of Belluno and even dialects spoken in the northwestern Trentino. The Judaeo-Spanish Wikipedia or Ladino Wikipedia is the Judaeo-Spanish-language version of Wikipedia. It was approved on December 21, 2006, but its earliest articles date to August 2006. Current status The Judaeo-Spanish Wikipedia had 3,624 articles as of March 9th, 2023. There were registered users (including bots); were active at that time, including administrators.:lad:Especial:Estatistika, consulted May 7, 2019, and excluding the "Anti-abuse filter" in the administrator count. Although Judaeo-Spanish was historically written in Hebrew script, today it is often written in Latin script. Judaeo-Spanish Wikipedia has content in both scripts, with the great majority of content in Latin script. Ladin Dolomitan
or standard Ladin is the standard written constructed language (Dachsprache) based on the similarities of the five main dialect-groups of Ladin. It is the desired outcome of the project called SPELL ( – "service for the planning and preparation of the Ladin language") under the initiative of The Union Generala di Ladins dles Dolomites (project owner) and the Ladin cultural institutes '' Micurà de Rü,'' '' Majon di Fascegn'' and '' Istitut Pedagogich Ladin'' to create a unified standard written language.
