Aaron Labonte
Aaron Labonte (born 27 November 1983) is an English former professional footballer. Labonte, who started his career as a trainee with Newcastle United, has previously played for Dunfermline Athletic and Finn Harps. Career Labonte started his career as a trainee for English Premiership side Newcastle United in 2001. In January 2003, then Livingston manager Jim Leishman offered Labonte a trial. The trial was unsuccessful, but 5 months later Labonte was handed a trial by fellow SPL side Dunfermline Athletic. After a successful trial, Labonte was offered a -year contract with the club. Labonte made his debut in the 4–0 defeat to Glasgow side Rangers. In the 2004 Scottish Cup Final defeat to Celtic, ''Bhoys'' striker Henrik Larsson twice evaded Labonte and scored both times. Benoît Labonté (born 28 December 1959) was a city councillor with the Vision Montréal party in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was the mayor of the borough of Ville-Marie until 2009. He was in favour of the merger of all Montreal Island municipalities into the megacity. Labonté, a former head of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, is a Canadian federalist,. He once worked as an aide to former finance minister Paul Martin of the Liberal Party of Canada. Previously a member of the Union Montreal municipal party, he left and joined Vision Montréal following a dispute with Montreal mayor Gérald Tremblay. Following this, Tremblay prevailed upon the Quebec government to abolish the position of Ville-Marie borough mayor as a separate elected position, merging it with the office of mayor of Montreal. Robert Allen Labonte (born May 8, 1964) is an American semi-retired professional stock car racing driver and current analyst for ''NASCAR on Fox''. He also currently competes full-time in the Superstar Racing Experience, driving the No. 18 car. Labonte is the 2000 NASCAR Cup Series champion. He and his older brother, Terry Labonte, are one of only two pairs of brothers to have both won the Cup championships (along with Kurt Busch and Kyle Busch). He is also the uncle of former Xfinity Series race winner Justin Labonte. Labonte is the first driver to have won both the Winston Cup championship (2000) and the Busch Series championship (1991) in both series current touring form. Catherine Labonté is a Canadian glass artist. Her work appears in the Corning Museum of Glass, and in 2007 she received a Niche Award. Biography Labonté is from Montreal, Quebec. When she was young, Labonté sketched pictures of the cartoon cat Garfield, and started glassblowing as a way to create object based on her drawings.
