Cesáreo González
Cesáreo González Rodríguez (1903 – 1968) was a Spanish film producer. González was born in 1903 in Vigo, Spain. When he was 12, he took a boat to Cuba and worked as a salesman. He would later work in Mexico at his uncle's bakery, and return to Spain as a young adult. In 1940, he began a production company called Suevia Films. Its first release was '' Stowaway on Board'' (1941), a film starring Florian Rey, in 1941. He would go on to produce over 100 films. González chose local Spanish talent to act and perform music in his films, such as folk singer Lola Flores, actress María Félix, comedian Pepe Iglesias, and child prodigy Joselito. He would later produce under the name Cesáreo González Producciones Cinematográficas. He died in Madrid in 1968. Ramón Torrado
Ramón Torrado (born 5 April 1905-January 1990) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. He directed 50 films between 1942 and 1978. Along his brother Adolfo Torrado, they worked in Suevia Films, and he directed ''Botón de ancla'' (1948), with a good success and was adapted many times, ''El famoso Carballeira'', ''Polizón a bordo'' (1941), ''Mar abierto'' (1946) and ''Sabela de Cambados'' (1948). Suevia Films was a Spanish film production and distribution company, founded in 1940 by entrepreneur Cesáreo González with his brother Arturo Gonzalez. During the 1940s–1960s they were one of Spain biggest studios and were responsible for more than 130 films, averaging five per year. Beginning in 1951 with the dancer Lola Flores, who was hired for five films at a cost of 6 million pesetas, Suevia signed many of Spain's leading actors to exclusive contracts. These included Francisco Rabal, Fernando Rey, Carmen Sánchez, Ángel de Andrés, Rafael Durán, Antonio Casal, Amparo Rivelles, Conrado San Martín Sara Montiel, Carmen Sevilla, Paquita Rico, Joselito and Marisol. Pedro Ricardo Barreto Jimeno, (; born 12 February 1944), is a Peruvian prelate of the Catholic Church who was Archbishop of Huancayo from 2004 to 2024. He has been a cardinal since 2018. Biography Barreto was born in Lima, Peru, on 12 February 1944 and entered the Jesuit novitiate there. He studied philosophy at the Jesuit faculty in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, and theology in Lima. He was ordained a priest of the Society of Jesus on 18 December 1971 and took his final vows as a Jesuit on 3 October 1976. Casas originally began as a footballer for Atlético Madrid, but entered film in 1941 and made nearly 170 appearances in film and TV between then and 1982.
