''La Heredera'' (The Heiress) is a Mexican telenovela produced by TV Azteca. It marked the third reunion for Silvia Navarro and Sergio Basañez as protagonists. The series was then developed into an American telenovela by the title of '' American Heiress''. Plot Meet Maria Claudia(Silvia Navarro). Her father, Don Julian (Guillermo Murray), is the most influential industrialist of the Mexican political scope. Bruno Bichir Nájera (born 6 October 1967) is a Mexican actor and one of the members of the Bichir family. Biography Bichir was born in Mexico City. He started his acting career at the age of five in several theater, film and television series. He made his film debut in a minor role for '' Under Fire''. Sergio Bustamante (October 18, 1934 – May 22, 2014) was a Mexican actor of telenovelas, cinema, dubbing and theater. Life and career Born Sergio Emilio Edgardo de Bustamante y Arteaga Roa, he studied psychology in UNAM and later acted in ''Escuela de Arte Teatral''. His debut as an actor was in ''El duelo'' by Federico S. Inclán. His debut in cinema was ''Una golfa'' in 1957 with Silvia Pinal.
