''La dame de chez Maxim's'' (''The Girl from Maxim's'') is a 1933 British French-language comedy film directed by Alexander Korda and starring Florelle, Esther Kiss and Ady Cresso. The film is a French-language version of the 1933 film ''The Girl from Maxim's'' made by London Film Productions. Madeleine Ozeray (13 September 1908 in Bouillon – 28 March 1989 ), was a French stage and film actress. She appeared in many films between 1932 and 1980. She is the godmother of theater actor, dancer and singer Frédéric Norbert. Biography Madeleine Ozeray was born in Bouillon Belgium to Camille Ozeray (1855–1938), a lawyer and Liberal member of the province of Luxembourg, and Marie Deymann. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels where she won first prize for comedy. Félix Mayol (18 November 1872 – 26 October 1941) was a French singer and entertainer. Career Mayol was born in Toulon, France. His parents, amateur singers and actors, arranged for Felix to make his debut stage at six years of age. In 1895, he went to the Montparnasse Quarter of Paris where he began a career in entertainment that spanned more than forty years.
