"La Vida Es Así" (''English: Life Is Like That'') is a song by Puerto Rican reggaetón singer-songwriter Ivy Queen. It was written by Queen, Francisco Saldaña and Marcos Masis, produced by Tainy and released as the lead single off her seventh studio album, '' Drama Queen'' (2010) on May 11, 2010. The song was serviced to Latin radio in both Urban and Tropical formats. The reggaeton version of "La Vida Es Así" was a success on the '' Billboard'' Latin charts. The song's accompanying music video was shot on May 17, 2010 in Miami and premiered on mun2 on June 22, 2010 and VEVO on June 28, 2010 and was directed by Marlon Peña. Martha Ivelisse Pesante Rodríguez (born March 4, 1972), known professionally as Ivy Queen, is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, songwriter, and actress. She is considered one of the pioneers of the reggaeton genre, commonly referred to as the Queen of Reggaeton. Aventura (band)
Aventura is an American bachata group formed in The Bronx, New York. With the lineup always consisting of the members Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos (Len Melody), and Max Santos (Max Agende), they are regarded as one of the most influential Latin groups of all time. All of the members are of Dominican descent, although Romeo is also half Puerto Rican on his mother's side.
