Gérard Oury (born Max-Gérard Houry Tannenbaum; 29 April 1919 – 20 July 2006) was a French film director, actor and writer. Life and career Max-Gérard Houry-Tannenbaum was the only son of Serge Tannenbaum, a violinist of Russian-Jewish origin, and French Jewish Marcelle Houry, a journalist and art critic. Jacky Nercessian (or ''Nersessian'' ( hy, Ժաքի Ներսեսյան), born November 16, 1950) is a French actor who is ethnically Armenian. One of his most known roles is Apkar in '' Mayrig'' by Henri Verneuil. Biography Nercessian was born in 1950 in Saint-Etienne. He graduated from the Department of Theology to become a Pastor in England. He has played both in cinema and TV – including the role of Mustafa Ismael Faruki in ''Long Journey'' (Golden Lion for the Best Feature Film, Venice IFF, 2004). Marine Delterme (born 18 March 1968) is a French actress, painter, sculptor and former model. Early and personal life Marine Delterme was born in Toulouse, France, and grew up in Paris. Alain Poiré
Alain Poiré (13 February 1917 – 14 January 2000) was a French film producer and screenwriter. He was born in Paris, and died in Neuilly-Sur-Seine. Life and career Alain Poiré graduated from law school and worked for advertising group Havas. In 1938, he moved to working for the film company Société Nouvelle des Etablissements Gaumont (SNEG) as assistant general manager in order to save the company from financial disaster. SNEG was renamed Gaumont Film Company in 1975. Always passionate about cinema, he didn't leave Gaumont until his death in 2000, becoming one of the most prolific producers in French cinema, particularly from the 1950s on. As producer at Gaumont and manager of Gaumont International, Alain Poiré produced more than 200 films. His final film, released after his death, was La Vache et le President.
